چکیده

A regular parallelism of real projective 3-space PG(3,R) is an equivalence relation on the line space such that every class equivalent to set 1-dimensional complex subspaces a 2-dimensional vector space. We shall assume classes compact, and characterize those parallelisms admit action torus group. prove there one-dimensional subtorus fixing parallel class. From this property alone we deduce 2- or 3-dimensional in sense Betten Riesinger. If 2-torus acts, then can be described using so-called generalized star which admits 1-torus action. also study examples by constructing stars. In particular, claim was presented Riesinger with incorrect proof. The present article continues series papers first author large groups.

On dihedrants admitting arc-regular group actions

We consider Cayley graphs Γ over dihedral groups, dihedrants for short, which admit an automorphism group G acting regularly on the arc set of Γ . We prove that, if D2n ≤G≤ Aut(Γ ) is a regular dihedral subgroup of G of order 2n such that any of its index 2 cyclic subgroups is core-free in G, then Γ belongs to the family of graphs of the form (Kn1 ⊗ · · · ⊗Kn )[Kc m], where 2n= n1 · · ·n m, and...

ON r-REGULAR CONVERGENCE

In his paper On sequences and limiting sets [ l ] , 1 G. T. Whyburn introduced the notion of regular convergence. He showed that in the cases of 0 and 1 regular convergence (see definition below) that the limit of sequences of many simple topological sets is of the same type as the members of the sequence. I t is the purpose of this paper to extend some of these results to higher dimensions. Th...

2 00 8 Torus quotients of homogeneous spaces - minimal dimensional Schubert Varieties admitting semi - stable points

In this paper, for any simple, simply connected algebraic group G of type B n , C n or D n and for any maximal parabolic subgroup P of G, we describe all minimal dimensional Schubert varieties in G/P admitting semistable points for the action of a maximal torus T with respect to an ample line bundle on G/P. In this paper, we also describe, for any semi-simple simply connected algebraic group G ...
